New Album: The Music of Fred Rogers

After almost two years in the making, I'm excited to announce that pianist Kevin Bales and I have teamed up, once again, and this time we're bringing you the music of Fred Rogers (aka Mister Rogers); however, we need your assistance in making this goal a reality. The cost of obtaining the rights to the music, recording, marketing, printing and promotion of the album and concerts adds up rather quickly. So, we are asking for your participation in helping us bring his music to you by clicking on the link to the right. In addition, we will be donating 10% of all proceeds received to the Fred Rogers' Center (www.fredrogerscenter.org) which is dedicated to helping children grow as confident, competent, and caring human beings.

Most people know Fred as a kind and compassionate children's television host who offered words of guidance and wisdom. What a lot of people don't know is that he was also an amazing composer, writing over 200 songs and 13 operettas. Our goal with this project is to introduce some of his compositions to a generation that may not be familiar with his music or philosophy. We also hope to ignite a sense of comfort and hope with those who grew up with Mister Rogers in their living room (like us), especially given the current climate of our world, today.

Joining us on this project are two of Atlanta's finest musicians: drummer/recording engineer Marlon Patton and bassist Billy Thornton.

Thank you, in advance, for your generosity and have a beautiful day!
